Birth doulas do not provide medical care or perform clinical tasks, focusing instead on offering continuous support and ensuring your comfort and well-being. 

Midwives take care of all medical aspects, ensuring both you and your baby are safe. They monitor your health, check the baby’s progress, and handle any medical procedures needed during labor and delivery.

Doulas and midwives work well together as a team. While the midwife handles medical care, the doula provides emotional support. Having both ensures you and your partner are supported throughout labor and delivery.
